Anita Ekberg

Anita Ekberg, a Swedish actor and actress who lived in Sweden during in the 1950s and 1970s. was featured in a variety of European films and American ones. The most famous of her roles was playing the role of "La Dolce Via," which was a comedy-drama movie. In 1960 the film was awarded an award of the Golden Palm and an Oscar at the Cannes Film Festival. The film also had the success of critics and consumers. Born in Skane, Sweden, she worked as a fashion model before beginning her acting profession. In the end, she was crowned Miss Sweden Contest. When she moved to the US she started acting in a variety of films, playing small role. The first time she had a role that was acknowledged by the director was in the movie "Abbott and Co. Go to Mars In the film, she played in the role of a Venusian guard. The same year, she received the Golden Globe in the category of "Most Outstanding Newcomer" for her performance in the film "Blood Alley. She appeared in several other films during her entire career. The most notable of these is the American-Italian War drama "War and Peace', and the Western movie "Valerie" and the British Adventure crime film 'The Man Within and also the French and Italian drama The Dam on the Yellow River.
