The determined lady had planned to create a web series examining the gender roles in video games. However, she was the subject of a harassment online campaign. This attack didn't stop her, but instead strengthened her resolve as an activist for women in media. Her notable contributions to the field of feminist have been recognized by numerous awards. Anita Sarkeesian is an award winning media critic and the founder of Feminist Frequency an educational and non-profit organization which studies the portrayals of women within pop cultural narratives.
