Harry

Harry Edward Styles (also known as Harry Styles in the music world) is an British musician and a singer. Harry Styles was one of the founding members of One Direction. The band is based in Holmes Chapel in Cheshire England Styles is the son of Des Styles & Anne Cox. Harry Styles attended the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive school. There together with three students, he founded his musical group, White Eskimo. They won the Battle of Bands in 2009, thanks to their outstanding performances. While he's always fascinated by music, he was also interested in becoming an attorney or physiotherapist. He worked for a time part-time in a bakery in the city he lived in and hoped to assist economically at home. Harry Styles auditioned for The X Factor in 2010, and performed Is not She Lovely, an iconic Stevie Wonder song. He got selected. The reason for this is that his band broke up. Nicole Scherzinger proposed to Harry Styles that he be part of a brand new group, One Direction. The other group members included Liam Payne Zayn Mallik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored the young group in 2010. They performed tracks like My Life Would Suffer Without You which was written by Kelly Clarkson, and Total Eclipse of the Heart, by Bonnie Tyler during the competition. The group was one of the potential winners to win the award. The group was however placed third place behind Rebecca Ferguson, and the winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles, his group and Cowell were not able to win the competition. However, Cowell offered Harry Styles a 2 million pounds contract with Syco.
