Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor-Joy was born on the 16th of April, 1996 at Miami Florida. She is half English and the other half Spanish. Her parents are Dennis Alan Taylor an ex-banker as well as Jennifer Marina Joy psychologist. Her father, an native Argentine of Scottish and English descent is also her mother. Her mother is Spanish-English. Taylor-Joy has the eldest of five children, four are from Taylor's father's prior marriage. The family was at Buenos Aires until she was six, after which they moved to the Victoria part in London. Taylor-Joy stated that the move had been traumatic and she refused to learn English in the hope of come back to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she needed to go to after switching from Northlands. She then enrolled at Queen's Gate School, where she was a dancer and also performed in shows. After 16 she left school in order to explore acting as a profession. Taylor-Joy is a child actor who knew she would become one. It was her wish to be a model after Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modelling job.
